A longstanding way of life is changing. Farmers and cowherders are losing land to developers. The most fertile land is being used for building houses. Free range herding has been a way of life for centuries, and herders follow their herds a very long distance to find the best grass for their grazing.
In the “modern” times, uncertainty is growing every day. In this cowherder’s facial expression, I am showing his anxiety and deep thought.
Is this the change we want or the change we are forced to accept?
It will take cowherders a long time to return with the herd and be back with their families.
What can society do to save these values?
I thought that farmers and cowherders who have modern equipment with everything fenced in were safer but, no, they are surrounded by developers.
